Our honeybees collect manuka honey from the Manuka flower. The honeybees collect and transform the nectar of the Manuka plant into honey. Manuka Honey has a high and active MGO level. MGO, also known as methylglyoxal, is an antibacterial compound that effectively removes acne-causing bacteria. Its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects aid wound healing; it pulls moisture to the skin and can relieve acute skin diseases, including eczema and psoriasis. Our 200+ grading system means it contains more than 200mg per kg of Methylglyoxal (MG).
